Volunteers

Volunteers are a huge part of what made last year's inaugural VizConf conference such a success.
Having a team of friendly helpers to coordinate moving furniture, welcome attendees, put out meals for attendees, coordinate microphones, plan and write up the open space session schedule, publish to social media, replace rubbish bins when they get full, and pack up after the event means that the organisers can focus on the bigger picture—looking after our keynote presenters, making sure everyone gets fed, and ensuring our sponsors are receiving good value for their support.

Who else is coming?
As with last year, VizConf will be a melting pot of newcomers and experienced visual practitioners. You'll have the opportunity to pick the brains of some of the finest visual practitioners in Australia and the world. We'll profile attendees on this page in the lead-up to the event.
I really enjoyed VizConf this year. I appreciated the wide range of presenters and teachers there. Not only did I enjoy meeting all the different practitioners there, but also the wide range of input into the craft of the work we do. It was generally very well organised and well worth the small cost to attend. I for one will definitely be back ad letting others know who also work in this field.
